On 10 and 11 of November 2006, the DRF organised with the partners of the pilot project „Cross-Border Air Rescue between Germany and Denmark” the first common simulator training for the rescue forces.
At this advanced training in the air rescue center Niebüll, the 24 German and Danish emergency surgeons and rescue assistant were confronted with close-to-reality emergency scenarios at two simulator dolls. Apart from the medical aspect, the main objective of this training was particularly the communication of the binational teams. Further goals of the action (as well as other activities in the context of the work package 5) are qualification effects, the acquisition of knowledge about the neighbouring country and linguistic communication.
